If You want to travel nautical, lying on the beach or just enjoy the sunset in the end of day, Lombok island can deliver compelling beautiful beaches with white sand, full of the landscapes of the mountain and the hills such as in kuta beach lombok, Senggigi beach, Gili trawangan and many more

But for some tourists, nature lovers or backpacker who prefer a tour of nature and forests, Lombok also presents the beauty of Mount Rinjani, the 2nd Highest Volcono mountain in Indonesia after Mt. Kerinci in Sumatra.

The most Interesting from The active Volcano Rinjani Mount is a lake that is above the top, Within its huge 50 km² caldera sits the crater lake Segara Anak (Child of the Sea). Eruptions within the caldera have formed a new small cone called appropriately enough, Gunung Baru (New Mountain).

For the last eruption of Mount rinjani occur in 2010, it  erupted further 3 times for 2 day in 23th – 24th of May.

A good time climbing existing in April - November for this months is the dry season, climbing during the rainy season mostly canceled when rainfall is too heavy. And It gets very cold on the mountain above 2,000 m and nears freezing at the summit. Warm clothing is an absolute must.

Geting To Climb Mount Rinjani In

you can start climbing via Senaru Village (600 m), the north side of the mountain and closer to the main resort areas of the west coast Including Malthus Senggigi. Another possible entry point is Sembalun Lawang (1150 m), on the east side, The Closer to the summit. Both villages are accessible from the main road north coast.

If you are still confused by Mount Rinjani  travel you do not have to worry because there are plenty of tour guides who are ready to serve your adventure to the top of Rinjani, usually the travel agent offering full package with climbing equipment.
